The Story of the Boston College Arts Journal

In 2009, the BC Arts Insider blog was created for the Boston College arts community. After a four year hiatus, the BC Arts Journal was relaunched in 2020 to take over as the main vehicle of promoting and supporting campus arts through the BC Arts Council. We work to highlight arts events on campus and celebrate the achievements of BC students, faculty, and alumni in the arts. We aim to produce content featuring all variations of the arts including music, dance, theatre, visual art and design, writing, and more. We hope to inspire more engagement and connection with BC arts on campus and showcase the diverse talent that members of the BC arts community have to offer through our open-submission Student Art Catalogue.
