This article features an interview with CARAMEL, a director, multi-instrumentalist, Division I diver, student, curator, producer, and recording artist. CARAMEL discusses his musical journey, influences from his upbringing in Ohio, and the role of vulnerability in his creative process. He also reflects on how themes of Black empowerment and personal identity shape his art.
